User Code of Conduct
By using the Reshanti platform, you acknowledge your understanding of this User Code of Conduct and agree to:
a. Comply with all applicable laws, including but not limited to privacy laws, intellectual property laws, anti-spam laws, tax laws, and health & safety regulations related to online yoga instruction.
b. Provide accurate and up-to-date information to Reshanti, including identity verification, tax, and billing details, as required by our Payment and Refund Policy.
c. Use the Reshanti services and platform in a lawful, respectful, and relevant manner in line with applicable laws.
d. Follow the standards of conduct set out below.
Any use of the Reshanti platform that Reshanti, in its sole discretion, finds inappropriate and/or offensive may result in suspension or termination of a user account, with or without notice.
You agree to follow these standards of conduct, and you agree that you will not (and will not authorize or assist anyone else to):
1.Provide or receive services with other Reshanti users outside the Reshanti platform in order to bypass it.
2.Accept or request payment for sessions directly or through any channels other than those provided by Reshanti, with the aim of avoiding platform fees.
3.Manipulate session prices or interfere with another user’s listings.
4.Disrupt or otherwise interfere with any other user’s use of the services.
5.Transmit content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, pornographic, lewd, lascivious, or otherwise objectionable, as determined by Reshanti.
6.Circumvent or manipulate the payment structure or fees owed to Reshanti; fail to pay for a booked session unless the teacher fails to deliver it, materially changes it without agreement, or there’s an obvious error.
7.Fail to deliver a booked session unless the cancellation is due to the student’s fault or force majeure circumstances.
8.Use a name, profile picture, or language that Reshanti deems offensive or misleading.
9.Post false, misleading, defamatory, or libelous information.
10.Post hateful, discriminatory, or racially/ethnically objectionable content.
11.Post content that infringes copyright, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights.
12.Disclose any personal or confidential information obtained from another user without consent.
13.Advertise or offer unrelated goods or services through the platform.
14.Take actions to undermine any future feedback or rating system.
15.Harass, threaten, embarrass, or intentionally cause distress to another user.
16.Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity.
17.Promote, solicit, or participate in pyramid schemes or multi-level marketing.
18.Exploit anyone under 18 years old.
19.Spam or excessively message users to monopolize attention.
20.Adapt, alter, sublicense, or translate the services for your own purposes without permission.
21.Introduce viruses, malware, or harmful code into the Reshanti platform.
22.Gain unauthorized access to any system via the platform.
23.Transfer your account or login credentials without Reshanti’s consent.
24.Collect personal data (such as emails) from users without their consent.
25.Violate another person’s privacy, including posting personal details without permission.
26.Solicit personal information from anyone under 18 years old.
27.Violate any applicable law or regulation.
28.Encourage behavior that would be a criminal or civil offense.
29.Engage in or promote human trafficking, exploitation, or forced labor.
30.Use the platform to promote unsafe or harmful physical practices.
31.Ask a teacher to perform services beyond the agreed session (e.g., unrelated work, personal errands).
32.Use the services in a way that violates your workplace, institution, or other applicable policies.
33.Sell, rent, sublicense, or otherwise provide access to the services to others without written authorization from Reshanti.
34.Schedule sessions without the other party’s knowledge or confirmation to obtain payment.
