What is Reshanti?
Reshanti is an online space where yoga teachers and students connect for private 1-on-1 sessions. Everything happens through our in-built video call system — calm, simple, human.

Is Reshanti available worldwide?
Yes. Both teachers and students can join from anywhere, as long as they have a good internet connection.

Who can join Reshanti?
Students and teachers must be 18 years or older.

For Students

How do I book a session?
Browse teachers by yoga style, language, availability, or price. When you find someone who feels right, you can book a single class or a recurring weekly session.

How long is each session?
Each class lasts 50 minutes.

What do I need for the online session?
Just a device with a camera and microphone, a stable internet connection, and a comfortable space. A yoga mat is recommended.

Can I cancel or reschedule my session?
Yes. You can cancel or reschedule up to 24 hours before the class without any fee. If you cancel later, the session is considered confirmed and the teacher will still be paid.

Do I pay any extra fees?
No. Students only pay the session price set by the teacher (VAT is already included).

What happens if my teacher cancels?
If your teacher cancels in advance, you can either rebook with them for another time or receive a full refund.

Can I request a refund if I miss the class?
Missed classes (without cancellation) are non-refundable, as teachers keep their time reserved for you.

Are recurring sessions flexible?
Yes. You can pause or stop recurring bookings with advance notice.

For Teachers

How do I join as a teacher?
Sign up, create your profile, and upload a short introduction video. Once our team verifies your profile, you can start teaching.

Can I set my own prices and schedule?
Yes. You decide both your hourly rate and when you’re available to teach.

How does teacher payment work?
Students pay at the time of booking. After the session is confirmed as completed by both parties, your earnings (minus commission) are transferred to your bank account.

Does Reshanti take a commission?
Yes. Reshanti charges a small commission on each booking, which helps us maintain the platform and support teachers. The exact commission rate is shown transparently in your teacher dashboard.

Can I cancel a class I’ve accepted?
Yes, but please give at least 24 hours’ notice so students have time to rebook. Frequent cancellations may affect your visibility on the platform.

What happens if a student cancels?
If the student cancels more than 24 hours in advance, no payment is taken. If they cancel later, the class fee is still paid out to you.

Can Reshanti use my profile video?
Only if you agree. During signup, you can choose whether your introduction video may be featured on Reshanti’s social media.

Sessions & Technology

Do I need special software?
No. Everything runs on Reshanti’s built-in video call system. No external downloads are required.

Can sessions be recorded?
No. For privacy, sessions are never recorded by Reshanti.

What if I have technical issues during a session?
We recommend testing your internet and camera before class. If something goes wrong, you can contact Reshanti support.

How are time zones handled?
Our system automatically converts session times to your local timezone, so you always see the correct schedule.

Payments & Safety

Is payment secure?
Yes. Payments are processed by trusted, secure providers.

Which currencies can I pay in?
Payments are accepted in EUR and in many local currencies (depending on your location).

Are teachers verified?
Yes. We review each teacher application before approval, but we don’t guarantee the authenticity of their certificates.

Is my data safe?
Yes. Reshanti complies fully with GDPR. Your personal data is secure and never shared without your consent.

Policies & Rights

What are my cancellation rights as a student?
You can cancel or reschedule up to 24 hours in advance without charge.

What are my cancellation rights as a teacher?
You can cancel with 24 hours’ notice. We ask teachers to cancel only when necessary — frequent cancellations may affect your reliability rating.

What if my session is cancelled by the other party?
You will always be refunded (student side) or paid (teacher side) according to the cancellation rules.

Do I own the content I share on Reshanti?
Yes. Teachers own their content (including intro videos). Reshanti only uses it for promotion if you give permission.
